We are excited to start a new series bringing you behind-the-frames called “My Favorite Frames.”  We have invited our own team members to talk about their favorite frames.  We’ve left it up to them – they can choose optical or sun, new or old, bold or subdued.  Be sure to check back to see which styles are most popular here at 1140 Broadway.

Inda Muntu, one of our go-to Customer Service specialists, models her favorite pair of eyewear – an oldie but a goodie – the Betsey Johnson Oxford Street.  Her preferred color is the Espresso. We asked Inda why she chose this frame and here is her reply:

First and foremost, I love the cat-eye style.  I think it fits well and is a flattering shape in general.  I also love the colorway – the espresso front makes it wearable but the lime green adds a nice pop of color.  Betsey Johnson is always experimenting with interesting color combinations which I appreciate. This particular frame matches a lot of stuff without being boring and, since it’s unique, I don’t feel like I am wearing the same frame as every other person on the street.
