Jennifer is another one of our super-talented interns.  She was kind enough to take the time to let us interview her!

Where are you from? Mohegan Lake, NY…it’s a small town in Westchester.

Where do you go to college? What is your major? I am going to be a junior at Marist College. I am a Fashion Merchandising major with a double minor in Business and Product Development.

How would you describe your personal style? My style is definitely very feminine and classic, with a few trendy splashes.

Who is your style icon? My style icon (for now) is Blake Lively. I love how she’s not afraid of color. Her style is feminine, and she always throws a cool hairstyle or funky accessory into the mix. Plus, her summer looks are the best.

What is your favorite summer activity on days off? I love photography, so I really enjoy taking my camera to fun locations in good weather to shoot.

What is your favorite summer song right now? We Are Young by Fun.

Where do you find outfit inspiration? My closet! I love seeing how many different ways I can wear a particular piece of clothing.

What is your dream job? Although I love product development, my dream job is to be an Art Director of a magazine. I think it would be awesome to have the final say on all photographs that goes into every issue.

What do you hope to learn and accomplish by interning at B. Robinson this summer? I hope to have a deeper knowledge of the product development side of the fashion industry. I want to understand exactly how eyewear gets from a sketch on paper, to a store.

What is your favorite summer desert? Watermelon! Healthy and refreshing.

What is your favorite summer nail polish? Fiji by Essie. It’s a super white pink and can make anyone look tan.

What is your favorite TV show? I am obsessed with the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Never miss a season.

What is your favorite thing about New York City? I love the energy in NYC. The second I pull into Grand Central, I feel a rush.

What is one restaurant you are dying to try? It’s not really a restaurant, but I am dying to try the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. I LOVE burgers, and B. Robinson is so close by.

What is your favorite color? Pink! I’m about as girly as they come.

What are some of your favorite books? I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy and loved it so much that I made my family and Marist housemates read it. I also love Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls; I read it three times as a kid!
