This year’s CFDA Awards marked the 50th anniversary for the organization, bringing together first time guest and nominees as well as seasoned veterans in celebration of great American fashion! Appropriately, guests stepped out in style on the red carpet and spoke of their excitement for the organization’s success.

Zoe Saldana, one of our favorite looks of the night, wore an amazing black dress with sheer cutouts by Prabal Gurung, setting the tone for a night of gorgeous fashion!

Julianne Hough owned it in a daring deep red dress with a low V-cut top, looking absolutely stunning:

First time nominees Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen took home the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year, beating out great American designers like Michael Kors! Billy Reid took home Menswear Designer of the Year and Reed Krakoff snatched up the Accessory Designer of the Year Award.

Some of our favorite partners were also spotted working the red carpet at the awards! Betsey Johnson graced the carpet with her usual bubbly and quirky personality shining through alongside her lovely daughter:
