The birthstone for the month of July is the bold Ruby. The ruby gemstone comes from the mineral Corundum, which is the second hardest natural mineral known to mankind, right after the diamond! Though the ruby is commonly known for its deep red hue, the range of color can go from any shade of red to almost pink.

The ruby has long been associated with the values of love, success, integrity, passion, and promise. The ruby gemstone is commonly found in Thailand, India, Madagascar, and Vietnam.
