Yesterday, hundreds of talented individuals in the film industry descended upon the Hollywood Dolby Theatre for a night we won’t forget – the 2013 Academy Awards! Hosted by funny man Seth MacFarlane, Oscars night was filled with good times and great wins. Best Picture went to Argo, a great comeback win for Ben Affleck. Anne Hathaway took home the prestigious award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Les Misérables while Jennifer Lawrence took home the coveted Best Actress award for her work in Silver Linings Playbook [we called both of these!]. The toss up for us was the Best Actor nod as Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper were both strong contenders in our book, but Daniel Day-Lewis took home the much-deserved win for his role in Lincoln.
The red carpet looks wowed us all, as usual! A few lovely ladies, including Jennifer Aniston and Sally Field, looked royal in red while others like Halle Berry and Stacy Keibler dazzled in metallic dresses! And we can’t forget about the Judith Leiber red carpet looks – here are just a few we spotted who paired their gowns with a Judith Leiber handbag:
