Our team has returned from MIDO in Milan and came with plenty of good news and stories to tell! Check out a recap of their trip:

The team got a chance to roam a few shops – doesn’t Joyce look fabulous?!

Jamie – “We were lucky enough to be able to go trend shopping on our first day in Milan. We went to Via Montenapoleone which is a street with tons of luxury shops in addition to small boutiques. One of the eyewear trends we observed during out shopping trip was flash lenses. Everything from the high end down to the low end had mirrored lenses in really fun colors!”

Jill K. – “This was taken at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It is a famous glass-roofed open shopping arcade that is lined with various shops and restaurants. It was built in the shape of a latin cross and the four walkways meet at an octagonal piazza. There you will find a mosaic bull of Turin on the floor, which is a symbol of Milan. There are a lot of Italian superstitions around this bull. Some believe it brings luck and that it will also bring visitors back to Milan in the future.”

Crystal – “Our dinner after the first day of the show at osteria di brera was AMAZING!!!”

Jamie and Meredith stopped to have their fortune told!

Meredith – “After our steak dinner, we had to walk to a cab station and we passed a tarot card reader so Jaime and I decided to sit down and get ours read! We could hardly understand her and she kept singing to us! It was so fun!”
