The SAG Awards were last weekend and we noticed a lot of trends on the red carpet. Just like at the Globes, there were many neutral tones as well as some pops of color here and there, but the boldest look that kept popping up were gowns in reds, pinks and every shade in between. With Valentine’s Day just two weeks away, we’re calling this trend Valentine’s Chic.

Since Wednesday when the People’s Choice Awards aired, we can now officially get excited for Awards Season! That’s right – ball gowns, endearing speeches, not so endearing interruptions (echem, Kanye?), and lots of best and worst dress analyses are on their way – all accessorized with an alluring red carpet and, we’re sure, a complimentary Judith Leiber clutch. There are great movies and TV to be judged this season which is why we’re most excited for the elite Golden Globes because it combines both and it’s airing this Sunday at 8/7c on NBC, with the red carpet pre-show airing at 7/6c.
While the fashions walking into the Globes are the most exciting for us to see, the nominees and winners are the second biggest draw to the event and we’d like to cast our votes for who will be taking home the gold in our favorite categories. Note – these are who we’d like to see win as opposed to who actually will.
MOTION PICTURE NOMINATIONS
Best Motion Picture – Drama
We loved the book and LOVED the movie! It probably won't win but we like it just the same!
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical
We weren’t satisfied choosing just one image of Ryan Gosling – you need to watch this clip to understand why he sincerely needs to win. And it’s not just because of his abs.
With eight nights of Hanukkah beginning at sundown and just a few more shopping days before Christmas, our last-minute Gift Guide continues. Eyewear is the easiest gift to quickly purchase and today we’re focusing on all our “Geek Chic” friends like Glee’s Artie Abrams. Artie’s a favorite character of ours because not many people can break it down to “Gold Digger” while wearing sweater vests and saddle shoes.
Featured are frames from Kata‘s Reverse group: K203 and K211.

David Yurman proudly sponsored ELLE Magazine’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood party last week on October 17th. Several of the honorees, each whom have made an indelible mark in film this year, sparkled on the step-and-repeat decked out in David Yurman jewels.
This phenomenal set of leading ladies ranged from new comers to icons including honored actresses Elizabeth Olsen, Viola Davis, Naomi Watts, and Freida Pinto. Also spotted in an array of David Yurman jewels were Katherine Heigl, Abigail Breslin, Jayma Mays, and Nicole Richie.
