If you missed the 2013 Screen Actors Guild awards last night, you missed an exciting night of fun fashion, newbies taking center stage, and veterans proving to still be powerhouses in the industry! “Argo” seems to be sweeping the current awards season, taking home yet another much deserved award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Picture. Jennifer Lawrence snagged the Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role award for her work in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Popular UK series “Downton Abby” – a personal favorite of ours – won Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series, while “Modern Family” won Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series for the third consecutive time!

Of course, the red carpet looks dazzled all who looked on! Many of the lovely ladies finished their looks with stunning Judith Leiber clutches. Check out some of the looks from the night:

It been almost a week since the Golden Globes and we’ve been analyzing all the red carpet trends. Lots of  bright yellows. Green everywhere from clutches to earrings to dresses. Many metallics. But mostly, LOTS of neutrals like beige, blush, greige, cream, and ivory. So we’ve carried the trend into eyewear and pulled together a mix of our latest frames with some buried treasures:

Everything’s Fall-ing Into Place…

With fall just getting started and our big summer trade shows complete, we finally have a moment to breathe and give a quick update on what’s going on in the world of B. Robinson and Legacie. We have a lot of exciting new releases for the season and our licensors have lots going on as well:

Betsey Johnson

Betsey Johnson is launching a new fragrance called Too Too and she has been making personal appearances across the country.  Too Too, which will be exclusively available at Betsey Johnson and Sephora, features an actual tulle tutu decorating the bottle.

Cynthia Rowley

Cynthia is a well-known art fan and she recently donated an original sketch for the New York Academy of Art’s ‘Take Home A Nude’ auction on October 17th!

Also, be sure to check out Cynthia’s husband Bill Powers who will once again be seen on Bravo’s ‘Work of Art’.  The show premieres October 12th at 9pm.

Judith Leiber

The 2011 Emmy Awards featured scores of A–listers supporting the Judith Leiber brand.  Celebs sporting the sparkly minaudieres include Nina Dobrev, Christina Hendricks, Kelly Osbourne, Taraji P. Henson, Jennifer Carpenter, Julie Bowen, Evan Rachel Wood, Maria Bello and more.

David Yurman

Chic blogger Saucy Glossie has been wearing her new David Yurman sunglasses (DY 072 in 00 S Tortoise Lavender) all over her site.  She was also recently seen co-hosting Good Day New York on Fox– a sure sign of her blog’s popularity – decked out in David Yurman jewels.  Be sure to check her site often as she is a big fan of the brand and has a few new pairs of sunglasses for fall that she has yet to unveil!
