In this edition of Spotlight On, we introduce you to Jessica, one of the newest BR|LGC team members! Jessica joins our B. Robinson Sales Team. Read on to get to know her a little better:

BR|LGC: Job Title & Description?

Jessica: Sales Coordinator for the B. Robinson sunglass division.

BR|LGC: How long have you worked for BR|LGC?

J: A little over 2 months!

BR|LGC: Where are you from and where do you currently live.  How long have you lived in that area?

J: I am from Jupiter, Florida (A little town in Palm Beach). I currently live in Midtown, but just moved from Soho!

BR|LGC: Where did you go to college? What was your major?

J: I went to Boston University. I was an advertising major with a minor in cultural anthropology.

BR|LGC: What’s the best thing about your job?

J: So far I have loved meeting lots of new people. I’m a people person, so I enjoy meetings and showroom appointments.

BR|LGC: Describe yourself with three words.

J: Don’t you just love these questions. I guess I would have to say laid back, fun and caring.

BR|LGC: What sports did you play growing up?  If not sports, what were your favorite activities?

J: I was a ballet dancer and attended specialty ballet schools rather than a normal middle school, high school, etc. That didn’t leave much time for sports – but I did ride and show horses growing up.

BR|LGC: Vanilla or Chocolate?

J: Chocolate.

BR|LGC: What’s your favorite TV show?

J: Downton Abbey,  Mad Men, and Californication – sorry couldn’t pick one.

BR|LGC: What’s your favorite movie?

J: Factory Girl or The Talented Mr. Ripley.

BR|LGC: What’s your coffee/tea order?

J: Green tea with honey.

BR|LGC: Cats or Dogs?

J: Dogs!

BR|LGC: If you could go ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, where would it be?

J: South Africa.

BR|LGC: What’s your favorite comfort food?

J: Chicken and rice – I’m Spanish and my mother has the most amazing recipe!

BR|LGC: Number One Played Song/Artist on your iPod?

J: Right now, Rosalita by Bruce Springsteen. I pretty much only listen to classic rock.

BR|LGC: Do you have any secret skills or hobbies?

J: I’m an amazing cook.

BR|LGC: Do you need glasses?

J: My doctor says I do.

BR|LGC: What’s your current favorite style/color in the BR|LGC collections and why?

J: I absolutely love the Isaac Mizrahi Aviator (IM16).
