In our latest installment of “Meet Our Interns,” we introduce Jackie Martell. Read on to get to know her a little better:
BRLGC: Where are you from?
BRLGC: Where do you go to college? What is your major?
BRLGC: What department are you working in while interning here at B. Robinson?
J: I am splitting my time between the Product Development & PR/Marketing departments.
BRLGC: How would you describe your personal style?
J: Eclectic, Retro & Unique!
BRLGC: What is one item you own that has enormous value to you but none to anyone else?
J: I have been very privileged to have traveled to many countries. When I was 15-years-old I visited The Netherlands, and purchased my first diamond ring, which I wear to this day. The stone is so small but I worked really hard to earn that money and every time that I look at it, I am reminded that anything is possible.
BRLGC: Who is your style icon?
BRLGC: What is your favorite activity on your days off?
J: I am always out and about- I really enjoy taking long walks with friends and I am obsessed with museums.
BRLGC: What did your first pair of sun glasses look like?
J: You would have to ask my mom – though I’m sure something very unique. She used to accessorize me like crazy when I was a kid!
BRLGC: What is your current favorite song?
BRLGC: What is your favorite dessert?
J: Key lime pie.
BRLGC: Where do you find outfit inspiration?
J: Definitely fashion/entertainment blogs, magazines and friends (I have some uber-stylish comrades).
BRLGC: What is your dream job?
J: Ultimately, I would love to be an editor-in-chief of a magazine. I want to develop my personal brand and dip into the multi-faceted world of fashion.
BRLGC: What do you hope to learn and accomplish by interning at B. Robinson?
J: I hope to broaden my PR/marketing skills- including outreach, working on brand campaigns and social media management.
Welcome aboard, Jackie – we are happy to have you!
